About LS

Main motiavation for setting up this page is to resurrect my past creative endeavors, spanning games, utilities, and music - and give them a cozy new home.

It begam in 1984 by writing 'The Hotentots' using machine code monitor - I even didn't have assembler yet. The games was all about destroying the straw hut with a tank. It was whimsically released under the alias "Lenart and Sedma Prasica." which remained my 'brand' for everything from virus capturing utilities to prose. The era also included a first recorded demo of Dead Bacteries, a title whose misspelling was simply too charming to correct.

LaughingSkull evolved from the remnants of "Lenart and Sedma Prasica," initially blossoming as a purely musical venture. Imagine a one-man progressive goth metal jazz band, born from a composition so complex it shared its name, Laughing Skull. However, the siren call of programming lured me back as the last notes faded. Lacking other distractions, I dove back into game development.

And here we are - history meets present, still coding, still rocking.

Including the cookie consent - because even digital cookies need manners. No templates, no tools. No SEO tricks, no ads, no registration. Just pure, free content that you somehow managed to discover.

My days as an organic chemistry researcher are behind me, but not forgotten - with 30 scientific articles and 10 patents, it was no trivial affair. Yet, following my childhood passion, I now find joy in the realms of computer science, information technology, and data science. Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

To compensate for my non-traditional pivot, I didn't just dive into writing games. I hit the books - well, digital courses - hard. Here are just the highlights:

And it's probably clear by now that I have some skills in generative AI ... and distinguished taste as well. Ideogram was used in most cases to create seeds, which were 'remastered' using Diffusion XL - EdgeOFRealism or DreamShaper XL. Later images were made with Flux.

If you don't have a clue about what am I talking about, then this text was not for you.
