What do you think the porportion of Alliance and Horde are on our server? I think Allliance makes up 60% of the population while the Horde takes up the 40%. Am I wrong with these numbers do you think? I have limited knowledge on this because I am only lvl 38 and havent seen much yet.  |

| If we could get some people on each side to use WoWCensus we could get a pretty good idea of what the proportions are. Check out www.wowcensus.com, and once its installed do /census. You can then upload your stats to the webpage and we can start collecting data for our server (which btw is one of the only servers which doesnt have stats up right now for some reason...) |

| From what I have heard, and the data on that site agrees, pretty much all realms are heavily biased towards alliance in terms of population, pretty safe bet thats true here as well. |

| Horde side seems pretty barren, but then, I don't see too many alliance around either. |

I think you get a better idea of the PvP scene by looking at WoWrankings.
Look at the top 10 guilds in terms of average level:
Rank Guild Members Average-Level
#1 The Regulators 96 40.8
#2 TheMercs 64 39.2
#3 In Excelsis 72 36.2
#4 VANQUISH 57 35.3
#5 D D H 91 34.5
#6 Dark Solstice 78 31.8
#7 Silens 57 30.9
#8 The Core 34 29.7
#9 Nordic Reign 17 29.3
#10 Thanatos Agelada 13 27.4
8 of them are alliance, 2 are horde. DDH, TM (and SOB although theyre not in the list theyll be there soon i imagine) vs the alliance server, w00t, just the way I like it. The numbers of players on both sides seems closer to even however, I expect as the alliance leveling advantage will be play out and horde begins catching the 60s that the balance will tilt more towards even. |

From a purely non-statistical standpoint, it seems that Alliance and Horde are fairly balanced on our server. I tend to see equal amounts of each in contested areas.

The last time I checked a census LS had over 2200Alliance and only about 900Horde. That's room for improvement, but I must admit. The Horde is certainly making it's limited presence well known, and hell, I'm only a 28mage.
